Ce fanzine est conçu comme une visite de l’archive privée Libri Prohibiti créée à Prague par Jiří Gruntorád en 1990. L’écrivaine Alice Guéricolas-Gagné nous invite à la suivre à travers les pièces de cet appartement-bibliothèque où sont conservés des publications clandestines ou samizdats auto-édités avant la chute du mur de Berlin en Tchécoslovaquie ainsi que d’autres pays du bloc de l’Est. Salle après salle, l’autrice poursuit son espoir d’interviewer enfin le fondateur de ce lieu hors du commun et chemin faisant, elle nous fait découvrir ses trouvailles issues de l’underground littéraire tchécoslovaque.

This zine is designed as a tour of the private Libri Prohibiti archive created in Prague by Jiří Gruntorád in 1990. Writer Alice Guéricolas-Gagné invites us to follow her through the rooms of this apartment-library, where clandestine publications and self-published samizdats from before the fall of the Berlin Wall in Czechoslovakia and other Eastern Bloc countries are preserved. The author invites us to follow her from room to room, pursuing her hope of finally interviewing the founder of this extraordinary place and, along the way, introducing us to her discoveries from the Czechoslovak literary underground.
